Debunking the AI Snake Oil

Sam Altman says AGI is around the corner. Gary Marcus says GPT barely works. With corporate and personal agendas at play, who do you listen to? Who do you trust?

Join Sayash Kapoor, co-author of AI Snake Oil, and Greg Shove, Section CEO, on March 27 from 3 - 4 pm ET as they dismantle the AI hype through questions like:

  • Where does all this AI hype come from and what are the motivations behind it?
  • The hype around AI makes it sound like agents and AGI are launching any day now — what’s the reality?
  • Narratives around AI shift pretty quickly. So how can we tell when industry claims about AI progress are genuine versus when they’re driven by corporate agendas?

Bring your questions.
