The formation of the AI-native generation

AI is a total mindshift for professionals – and its outputs can dupe even the most eagle-eyed among us. So how do we introduce kids to AI in a way that fosters understanding, curiosity, and responsibility?

Join us for a panel of AI educators – including Garrett Smiley (CEO & Co-founder of Sora Schools), John Danner (Co-founder of Project Read AI and Spark Space), and Ted Dintersmith (Founder of WhatSchoolCouldBe.org) – focused on practical strategies for preparing today’s youth for an AI-driven world.

They’ll answer questions like:

  • Will kids actually learn if they can use AI in their schoolwork?
  • What should the role of AI be in the learning experience? What is it doing for the student and for the teacher?
  • How do we break through the resistance to get the benefits out of AI in education?
  • Graduates joining the workforce will be expected to be AI-fluent – but we treat it like cheating for their entire education, how do we reconcile that?
  • How will AI – and living in an AI-enabled world – change what students will need to learn in schools? Are there topics we’ll do away with?
